- This Privacy Policy explains what information SUDAKAI (an independent brand by Anh, at sudakai.co) collects when you visit the site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to collect only what we need to run the shop well. By using the site, you agree to this policy.
- Information you give us
- When you place an order or contact us, you provide details such as your name, email address, shipping address, order contents, and any message you send. Payment details (like your card number) are entered at checkout and handled directly by our payment providers — we never see or store your full card information.
- Information collected automatically
- When you browse the site, we automatically collect limited technical and usage data: the pages you visit, the site you came from (referrer), your device type and browser, and an approximate location (city, region, and country) derived from your network. We do not store your IP address — it's only used momentarily to create a short, non-reversible daily code that lets us count unique visitors without identifying you. Known bots and crawlers are ignored.
- Cookies & similar technologies
- We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep your shopping bag working, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
- Advertising & the Meta pixel
- We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and Meta's Conversions API to understand how our ads perform — for example which products are viewed, added to the bag, or purchased. This means certain event and device information is shared with Meta. You can manage ad personalization in your Meta account settings and through your device's ad controls.
- How we use your information
- We use your information to: process and ship your orders and send order updates; provide customer support and respond to messages; run, secure, and improve the site; understand our audience and measure how the site and our ads are performing; and, where you've opted in, send marketing emails. We don't use automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.
- Who we share it with
- We share information only with the service providers that help us run the shop — for example Shopify (store and checkout), our payment processors, shipping carriers, Meta (advertising and measurement), and, where enabled, our product-reviews provider. These providers may only use your information to perform their services for us. We do not sell your personal information.
- Data retention
- We keep order and contact information for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize it. Our basic visitor analytics are coarse and don't identify you, and are kept only to understand site traffic over time.
- Your rights & choices
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or limit certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or targeted advertising (for example under the GDPR in the UK/EU or the CCPA/CPRA in California). To make a request, email contact@sudakai.co and we'll respond as required by law. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Marketing emails
- We send transactional messages (like order and shipping confirmations) as part of fulfilling your order. We only send marketing emails if you've opted in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link you can use at any time.
- Security
- We use reputable providers (such as Shopify) and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected and limit access to it.
- Children's privacy
- The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
- International visitors
- SUDAKAI operates online and may process your information in the country where we or our providers are based, which may differ from where you live. By using the site, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in those locations, with protections appropriate to the service.
- Changes to this policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy as the shop or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page, and the "last updated" date below shows when it last changed.
